Cavite State University Main Campus’ CSG President Arnhee Clamosa secured the Federal Central Student Government (FCSG) presidency for the academic year 2025–2026 by garnering six votes in the election held at CvSU Main Campus, Lasap Hall, today, November 24.
Clamosa emphasized knowing the proper constitutions of all campuses and proper planning in representing and voicing the concerns of CvSU students.
The newly elected Student Regent also talked about her commitment to a democratic style of leadership, saying she wants every student to feel heard and included.
"I really want to have a democratic type of leadership. Kasi, based na rin sa mga na-experience ko, gusto ko kasi napapakinggan lahat and ayoko na may na-le-left behind talaga," she added on how she wants constituents to feel under her leadership in an interview.
She also looks forward to working with her co-presidents in creating plans for the CvSU student community.
"...I need to start [with] baby steps, initial action para sa mga susunod na term, madali na sa kanila na maipapatuloy kung ano na yung nasimulan namin," Clamosa stated.
Meanwhile, the former student regent, Joseph Onglionco from Bacoor Campus, has been elected as the new Deputy Regent, having earned a total of eight votes.
