Karl Eldrew Yulo proved he is a rising force in international gymnastics after securing two bronze medals at the 2026 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series Cairo Leg in Egypt.

The 18-year-old prodigy delivered an applause-worthy performance on Sunday, April 5, capturing his first bronze medal in the floor exercise final with a score of 14.00.

With a tight competition against AIN gymnasts Marinov Daniel who scored 14.233 and Dukhno Arsenii with 14.133, Yulo did not disappoint and finished close.

After executing his challenging routines, he sealed his second bronze medal of the series after finishing third in the horizontal bar finals on Monday, adding another podium finish for the young Filipino gymnast.

Within a day's rest, Yulo recovered and scored 13.733 at the horizontal bar. Enough for another bronze, just behind China's Li Hongyan who scored 14.000 and Cyprus’ Marios Georgiou with 13.900 as close second.

After his great performance, Eldrew Yulo continues to cement himself as one of the most promising gymnasts in the country.

"Really elegant Gymnastics!" says the analyst to Yulo after his refined display of mastery.

He is now set to conquer his next campaign, the World cup series in Croatia, hoping for another podium finish.
