Cavite Young Leaders for Entrepreneurship (CYLE) has officially released Resolution No. 003 A.Y. 2025-2026 for the appointment of Mr. Jhomari Kenshin P. Sarte, the previously elected Vice President for Marketing, as the new president of the organization, signed and approved by CYLE executive officers and advisers on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
The appointment has been made due to the vacancy of the president position following the organization's Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), Article 9, Section 4 that stated, ‘Any vacancy which may occur in the office, shall be filled by appointment by the Executive Board pending ratification at the next group business meeting.’
According to Sarte, he explained that he had already prepared himself in terms of physical and mental aspects for the responsibilities that come with being the new President of their organization.
“I know that I said before that my capabilities are more of a Vice President but less of a President, that's why I run for [the] VP [position] while leaving the President position vacant. As time goes by, habang nakikita ko na sobrang lacking na sa student leaders ang org, nagkaroon ako ng courage to take the position. At that phase, unti-unti kong hinanda ‘yung sarili ko in terms of physical and mental aspects nang sa ganon, hindi ako mabigla kasi mabigat na position ang pagiging president,” he expressed.
Moreover, he also stated that one of the major challenges that he expects to face in their term is maintaining their organization functional.
“Sa tingin ko ay ang pinakamalaking hamon na inaasahan ko ay mapanatiling functional ang org. Sa ngayon kasi ay tatlo [sa] executive officers namin ay mag classmates, and we have two committees na classmates din namin. Due to same schedule, kapag wala kami, mostly ay wala na ring available sa [organization]. Plus, other officers namin ay bago lang sa pagiging officers. With that, sinisikap naming magkaroon ng proper communication in terms of schedule, and also the duties and responsibilities of each [and] of everyone. In that way, maiiwasan naming maging inactive ang org,” Sarte added.
Along with Sarte, Ms. Jhogie Samson, formerly Central Student Government (CSG) Creatives Committee, was also appointed as the Vice President for Marketing and Mr. Mark Morcia as the Vice President for Business Affairs, was recommended by their department for the position but has no prior leadership experience in the campus.
