The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the list of passers of the September Psychometrician Licensure Exam yesterday, October 2, 2025, with Cavite State University (CvSU) Imus Campus achieving a 90.91% passing rate overall, which describes the total of 30 out of 33 passers.

Out of 30, 28 were first-time takers and 2 were repeaters, consisting of both graduates and current instructors of the campus.

Aside from CvSU Imus, other campuses also produced passers, including CvSU Main, CvSU Bacoor, CvSU General Trias, CvSU Silang, and CvSU Tanza. Additionally, campuses such as CvSU Main, CvSU Tanza and CvSU General Trias produced topnotchers as they ranked sixth nationwide.

Among the 30 passers from CvSU Imus is Mr. Alvin Magno, an instructor from the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. He shared that his journey on passing the Psychometrician Licensure Exam was both exhausting and rewarding.

“...'Yung journey is both exhausting and enjoyable, exhausting siya in a way na syempre need mo mag-review so may mga gabi talaga na sobrang puyat ka… Enjoyable rin siya kasi along the way during the review, you will meet people that will make it bearable,” said Mr. Magno in an exclusive interview with The Flare through Messenger.

Mr. John Edrick Lloret, also an instructor from the same department, shared his experience as well, leading up to taking, and eventually passing the Psychometrician Licensure Exam.

“The journey is not easy. Mahirap and at the same time masaya. Lalo na nagtuturo ako sa campus. Talagang sabay ‘yung pagrereview ng lesson na idi-discuss mo kinabukasan at yung mga concepts and theories na need mo aralin sa board exam subjects,” he stated.

Moreover, Mr. Lloret gave his advice to the future examinees. “Three advice siguro ang mabibigay ko. Number 1 is routine. They need to establish a routine para hindi sila ma-overwhelm kapag malapit na yung board exam. Number 2 is magbasa na agad ng paisa isang libro kada board exam subject. And of course, number 3 is pahinga. Give themselves a rest-manood ng mga k-drama, anime, movies, and plenty of sleep. Kahit anong review, kahit kabisado mo na yung libro, mga theories, statistics, and concepts, kung pagod at bagsak ang katawan, wala rin. I enjoy lang nila yung journey at huwag matakot sumubok,”

In an interview with The Flare, both instructors emphasized that all their sacrifices and efforts paid off after seeing the licensure exam results.

Nationwide, 12,416 out of 14,275 examinees passed the exam, with an overall passing rate of 86.98 percent. The results were released days after the exam, which was on September 24 and September 25.
